Part 2

I get to question Tom about some of his recording/mixing methods, gear and technical stuff. All very interesting in getting the best out of the song. It's great to work with a producer who is also an accomplished musician/multi-instrumentalist.

My first impression was ... wow ... 2 sofas! A very comfortable studio and good vibes from Tom. Check out this part as we take a look behind the scenes and into the studio.

Part 1

I had a recent mixing session at Dragonfly Studios, Reigate with Tom Hughes. This was our 2nd session and I got the chance to ask Tom about his setup and look at some of the gear he uses.

I've been working on Secret Garden, on and off for the last year. I decided I would keep it simple by going Acoustic. This track still has some power to it and I think it's pretty much done after finalising the vocals in the next few weeks.
